Parents are encouraged to accompany classes on outings. We always welcome volunteers to help in classrooms; our parents have a wide range of skills which can support our children’s learning. Parents are invited to attend Parent Workshops on a variety of subjects to enable them to have a better understanding of their child’s education.
All Parents and Pupils from sign a Home School Agreement to ensure that the highest possible standards are achieved through working in partnership.
We also have a very proactive PTA, called the Friends of St Francis (FOSF). They support the school by raising money through a series of yearly events such as the Christmas Fair, Valentine’s Ball, Summer Fair, Cake sales etc This is an open group and any parent from St Francis is encouraged to be part of it. Approach the school office staff if you are interested and they will provide you with contact details of the chair.
