Wearing school uniform is compulsory for all pupils. Our uniform policy supports a sense of belonging and pride in the school community, promotes positive behaviour, and ensures that children are dressed appropriately and safely for the school day. We are committed to keeping uniform requirements practical, comfortable, and affordable for all families.
Families are asked to follow the school colour scheme at all times. We would like jumpers to be school-branded wherever possible, as this helps maintain a consistent school identity. However, we recognise that this may not always be practical, and plain jumpers in the correct school colours are acceptable where needed. Other uniform items do not need to be school-branded and may be purchased from any retailer.
School-branded jumpers, should families choose to purchase them, are available from Trutex.
All items of clothing must be clearly labelled with the child’s name to prevent loss. Trutex also supplies durable name labels designed to remain securely attached to clothing.
For health and safety reasons, trainers may only be worn during PE and Games lessons, or on designated occasions such as the Year Group Football Day. These days will be communicated in advance through the school newsletter.
Children should attend school on PE and Games days with their full PE and Games kit, ready for their scheduled lessons.
